High-temperature Dissolved OxygenSensorDOG-208FA 

DOG-208FA is an online high-temperature dissolved oxygen electrode independently developed and produced by Boqu Instrument Company. It uses a high-temperature breathable membrane that can withstand high-temperature sterilization at 130°C. It is a self-pressure-balanced high-temperature dissolved oxygen electrode that can be used to measure the partial pressure of dissolved oxygen in liquids or gases. The electrode adopts the polarographic principle, with high measurement accuracy, sensitive response, easy installation, and can work stably for a long time.

 

Why measure dissolved oxygen?

Dissolved oxygen concentration is one of the most important parameters in the microbial fermentation process. Insufficient or excessive oxygen can cause abnormal microbial metabolism and reduce production. However, the optimal oxygen concentration for microbial fermentation is different from the critical oxygen concentration. The former refers to the optimal concentration range of dissolved oxygen concentration for growth or synthesis, while the latter generally refers to the lowest oxygen concentration allowed without affecting bacterial respiration. In order to avoid microbial fermentation or biosynthesis under oxygen-limiting conditions, it is necessary to detect the critical oxygen concentration and optimal oxygen concentration in each fermentation process, and keep the growth and products of the bacteria within the optimal oxygen concentration range.

Application scope:

This electrode is particularly suitable for online detection of dissolved oxygen during microbial fermentation. It can be widely used in bioengineering, including online detection and control of oxygen content in fermentation broths such as pharmaceuticals, brewing, Vc, citric acid, dairy products and food and beverages. It can also be used for online measurement of dissolved oxygen levels in environmental monitoring, wastewater treatment and aquaculture.
