It can also be used to measure the electrode potential of other ion-selective electrodes. It is suitable for online continuous monitoring of sodium ion concentration in boiler feed water, saturated steam, superheated steam, and outlet water of cation beds in thermal power plants.

The instrument adopts a three-electrode measuring system, including a sodium measuring electrode, a pH compound electrode, and a temperature electrode. The sodium measuring electrode and pH compound electrode are used to measure the sodium ion concentration and pH value in water samples. The temperature electrode is used to realize automatic temperature compensation during the measurement process.
